$5,000 GAC Gridcraft Tournament — Glowsquid Games
GAC holders compete in a full recreation of Squid Game in Minecraft called “Glowsquid Game”.
What is Gridcraft?
Gridcraft is a metaverse platform within Minecraft completely free to play and explore. Gaming Ape Club is the first survival realm in the Gridcraft universe available for members of the community to play and earn GAC XP.
Gridcraft will offer GAC community members in game benefits such as exclusive cosmetics, items, abilities, exclusive club access, and more within the GAC realm. Characters will act as avatar skins for players, and land NFTs will act as ownership of areas within Grid City: a realm on Gridcraft where users and collections build on their land for all users to explore. Gaming Ape Club will have a central plot in Grid City.
What Version Of Minecraft Is Required?
- Java Edition for PC, Linux, or MacOS is required
- 1.17.1 or higher version
- Latest version is 1.18.2
Connecting To Gridcraft:
The Gaming Ape Club Glowsquid Game tournament NPC will be front and center once you join the Gridcraft. Players will just walk forward and click on the NPC for a tutorial on how to link their GAC discord to their Minecraft account. Players will compete in a large scale competition for $5,000 USD and GAC XP.
How Will The Tournament Work?
Players will join via an NPC in the Gridcraft Hub, up to a maximum of 200 players per game. We will run multiple games, producing 1 winner per game. The Gridcraft Discord bot will be setup in the Gaming Ape Club Discord before the event to allow GAC holders to verify their Minecraft account.
The first games will begin at 1PM EST on April 2nd. Test games will begin before the actual tournament to allow players to get a feel for the game and understand how to play.
All holders will receive 200 GAC XP for participating in the event. Each round that players successfully pass through will bonus each player 25 GAC XP. View the full prizing closer to the event.
Each game will consist of up to five rounds until there is one player standing. Depending on how many players participate will determine how many games will be played.
What is GAC XP?
GAC XP is an off-chain token that is spread across multiple platforms. It is an internal point system for GAC holders not on the blockchain. Both holders and non-holders can obtain GAC XP.
